The UAE on Tuesday announced 541 new coronavirus cases, along with 91 new recoveries and seven further deaths after an additional 25,000 tests were conducted.
The country now has 11,380 confirmed cases, 2,181 recoveries and 89 deaths.
Abu Dhabi malls will be allowed to reopen if they meet strict health and safety requirements, authorities have said.
Under the rules issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (Added), shopping centres and malls must arrange Covid-19 tests for all in-store employees before they can resume work.
Meanwhile, global cases have passed 3 million, with 211,000 deaths and 893,900 recoveries.
Hong Kong announced plans to reopen public facilities while conditions were eased in New Zealand.
