Wet weather forecast for UAE as heavy rain hits parts of the country

Light to heavy rain lashed parts of the UAE on late Monday night, with more rain expected on Tuesday as well.

According to the national Met department, the weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times over scattered areas with a chance of some rainfall especially over coasts, some western and northern areas.

Mercury will drop with moderate winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand.
